I have just begun my studies toward a Master of Arts in Cross-cultural studies at Fuller. I recently graduated from a small university in Arkansas where I studied Music, Spanish, and Christian Studies. I was born in Brazil and lived there until 4 years ago when I came to the US for college. My parents do mission work in the city (island) of Florianopolis, which is located near the southern tip of Brazil. Their ministry revolves around social work. They have helped in the planting of many churches through their work in oprhanages and drug rehab centers. I tell you about them and their ministry because it is as a result of them that I am where I am today. I have a strong desire to be involved in the community addressing its social needs for the glory of God. My hope is that I will be a part in drawing people closer to God as I work with the church to be the hands and feet of Christ in the midst of a needy world.
